After evaluating the Reviewers' comments as well as the Authors' proposed replies, I do think the study can benefit from a round of revisions which can be defined as moderate-to-major. These will help significantly to improve the clarity and impact of the work. I then expect the revised work to be subject to an additional round of reviews and to be accepted only in the case that all Reviewers are fully satisfied with the quality of the revised study.

While the Review process identified some limitations in the study, I do think the Authors have answered adequately to concerns raised and I propose the study to be accepted for final publication.
